Students and professors are invited for a friendly and informal debating session on a wide range of topics, serious or fun! For example: when is it considered ghosting? Does pineapple belong to pizza? Anything at all! We welcome you to suggest topics using the QR code on the flyers you will find around at VIU.
Tea2B is an opportunity for professors and students to discuss several topics in a friendly environment. Open to all students and faculty. With tea and biscuits!
Information session for internships in Italy (open to all)

There will be an information session on internships for interested students.
A curricular internship is an opportunity for students to expand their academic journey in Venice! Not only will students learn from experienced professionals, but they can also have the chance to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives, make a tangible impact, and add to their CV.

Boat trip to the Southern Venice Lagoon. Porto Marghera, Pellestrina, Mose Project (S2601, S2614, S2623)

This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the course S2601 History of Venice, S2614 Biodiversity Conservation from International to Local Policy and Practice and S2623 The City of Venice and its Lagoon as a Common. The activity is strongly recommended for S2601, compulsory for S2614 and S2623, and sponsored by VIU for enrolled students. Please, note that enrolled students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, March 25, 12pm, at the Front Office.
For non enrolled students interested in joining, the ticket fee is 10€ to pay at the moment of registration (the exact fee in cash).
Participants will receive further information the day before the visit.
On-site visit to selected neighborhoods of Venice Metropolitan City (S2618)
Friday, March 27, 2 - 5pm
In this field trip, students will be guided through the area of Chirignago - Centro sportivo Montessori (Mestre), exploring its urban design and everyday-life landscapes, as well as the broader urban contexts that are often overlooked by mainstream imagery of Venice, which typically focuses on tourist attractions or architectural and art history.
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the course S2618 Inhabiting Urban Space and Sense of Place and is therefore compulsory for enrolled students. However, note that enrolled students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, March 25, 12pm, at the Front Office.
Some places may be available to interested non-enrolled students. Participants will receive further information about the meeting time and point the day before the visit.
