All students attending the Globalization Program who wish to do a curricular internship in a host organization in Italy following their semester are welcome to apply.
A curricular internship offers the opportunity to:
- apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, reinforcing and deepening academic concepts through practical experience
-gain insight into current trends, challenges, and opportunities within a specific professional field
- develop key professional skills, including teamwork, time management, and problem-solving
- build a professional network by connecting with professionals, mentors, and peers while receiving valuable feedback
- observe the day-to-day operations of an organization, gaining firsthand experience of workplace practices and professional etiquette
- strengthen confidence and adaptability, learning to navigate new situations and diverse working environments
Requirements
Applications will be accepted from students from any of the member universities, including exchange students at Ca’ Foscari, Iuav, Padova and Tor Vergata, who are already registered in the Globalization Program and attending at least three courses during the semester.
Internship period
The internships are for two to four months long and take place following the semester of courses at VIU, pending suitable compatibility with opportunities at potential host organizations. The start and end dates are fixed in collaboration with the host organization, respecting the student's justified preferences, such as university-related commitments.

Applications
Applications for students of the 2nd semester 2025-2026 must be submitted via the candidate’s profile page on the VIU website available between March 6 - April 5, 2026.
Candidates are advised to submit their applications at least 6 hours before the deadline to avoid any technical difficulties.
Interviews with applicants from the 2nd semester 2025-2026 will take place after the mid-term break.
