Artificial Intelligence, an increasingly relevant topic also with concern to the latest pandemic challenge the world is facing, is one of QUEST project’s main areas of investigation with reference to Science Communication.

The ongoing reflection on the COVID-19 outbreak has opened the floor to various debates, one of them being the impact of digital innovation and technologies in containing the pandemic.

Within this AI research framework, QUEST team from APRE (Agency for the Promotion of European Research) interviewed Alberto Tozzi, the Chief Innovation Officer at Ospedale Bambino Gesù in Rome.

Tozzi was asked to discuss the way digital innovations, privacy and fake news can be central in addressing COVID-19. Issues such as the relationship between digital innovation and its social impact, priviacy, and misinformation are discussed in the video interview below:
