Master in Art History

Elizaveta shared insights about VIU academics and her life in Venice in an interview, as a former Globalization Program student. She also did her internship in Italy at IUAV university of Venice, and shares her experience.

“First of all I wanted to change the image in front of my eyes, because I got used to what was happening around me, and I wanted some new, international experience. Then I am specialized in Renaissance studies, so for an art historian it is also a valuable experience to have an exchange in Italy, in Venice.”

“Just arriving at the airport, I got to San Servolo in vaporetto, and I was like, is this the university? I was surprised!”.

“I liked living in San Servolo, on campus. I liked this time. There is something special in living and studying there, because it is like a little world with all these tiny details of infrastructures, ecc. All people living there, teaching there… it is a little world in a tiny island in Venice.”
