We interviewed Prof. Monteleone to learn more about his experience at VIU in the Globalization Program.

“This program is unique for me because I am using perspective as a means to link the geometrical subject with different cultural aspects. (…) The idea is to use my subject, the one that I usually teach, with other aspects of knowledge.”

“With the term Globalization I can say that my subject is including different topics. My teaching is directed to different kinds of students, so this is globalization. And my language is facing a global English.”

“This is a great experience. It is a good opportunity to improve oneself, even from a personal point of view. I usually have classes that are full of students, from 60 to 80 students, in some cases even more. So there is no space to establish a direct contact with them. In this case, since my class is made of 20 students, I know all their names and this is a very beautiful experience, even from a human point of view.”
