In this interview, VIU President Prof. Bernd Huber shares his vision for the future of the consortium, reflecting on its achievements over the past 30 years and the opportunities that lie ahead. He discusses the potential to further develop VIU’s academic programs, strengthen research activities and expand collaboration across its international network, as well as with cultural institutions and other partners in Venice and the Veneto region. Looking ahead, he sees VIU as a vibrant hub for new ideas and initiatives in higher education, bringing together universities, students and young researchers to exchange ideas and insights, explore new approaches and address emerging challenges.
