Venice International University is pleased to host the meeting "International Organizations and the Protection of Democratic Values", an event part of the Caffè Europa series, a popular format developed by the European Parliament – Milan Information Office to meet the citizens in an open and engaging forum to explore some of the most pressing issues currently facing the EU.

This discussion, held in English, invites students, faculty, and the public to reflect on the role of global institutions in democracy and today’s challenges.

Caffè Europa is part of the City of Venice’s Europe Day celebrations, which will continue throughout the month of May.

This event is also part of the VIU Tea2B meetings, the informal gatherings held on Mondays in office 2B that offer a weekly opportunity for professors and students to discuss several topics in a friendly environment, over a cup of tea.

All members of the VIU community and external guests are welcome to attend.
Free drinks, subject to availability.
