Tea2b: Barbecue Party (open to all)

San Servolo Barbecue Area
This week the Tea2B meeting will be substituted by the VIU Barbecue. You are invited to bring your own drinks and food to grill, to enjoy the sunset with music and good company. Everyone is invited to prepare a dish from their home country! This activity is open to all students and faculty.
3rd Dragon Boat session
Wednesday, October 1, 12.15 - 1 pm
The meeting point is in front of the waterbus stop on San Servolo.
It is recommended to wear sunscreen and comfortable clothes. You can leave your bags and belongings at the Front Office.
Guided Visit to Venissa Laboratory, Mazzorbo Island (F2501)
Friday, October 3, 10.30 am
This activity is part of a research project that will offer the opportunity to explore the case of the recovery of the Dorona of Venice - an indigenous grape variety that symbolizes biodiversity, environmental resilience, and the enhancement of the local territory. An educational experience that combines traditional production, sustainability, and local culture.
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the course F2501 History of Venice and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. However, note that enrolled students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, October 1, 12 pm, at the Front Office.
For non-enrolled students interested in joining, the ticket fee is 10€ to be paid at the moment of registration (the exact fee in cash).
Participants will receive further information the day before the visit.
Guided Visit to Lazzaretto Nuovo (F2516, F2517)
Friday, October 3, 12 pm
This co-curricular activity is an integral part of the course F2516 Health Communication and F2517 A Matter of Life and Death and is therefore strongly recommended and sponsored by VIU for the students enrolled. However, note that enrolled students must confirm their participation by signing up on the list by Wednesday, October 1, 12 pm, at the Front Office.
For non-enrolled students interested in joining, the ticket fee is 5€ to be paid at the moment of registration (the exact fee in cash).
