In cooperation with Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, we are pleased to offer the VIU students of this semester the opportunity to join the VIU Dragon Boat team.
Dragon Boat is an exciting water team sport where groups of rowers compete in a final race.
After four training sessions, the VIU team will participate in the rowing competition against the student teams of Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and Università Iuav di Venezia.
The training sessions will take place from 12.30 to 1.30 pm.
The schedule is as follows:
First Dragon Boat session: Thursday, March 28 - cancelled
Second Dragon Boat session: Tuesday, April 9;
Third Dragon Boat session: Tuesday, April 16;
Rescheduled session: Thursday, April 18;
Fourth Dragon Boat session: Tuesday, April 23.
Final Race: Friday, May 3.
The participation fee for the 4 training sessions and the final competition is €25.
Sign up for this activity at the VIU Front Office before Thursday February 29.
The meeting point for the training sessions will be at the San Servolo boat stop, in front of VIU main entrance.
