Application procedure and cost

Students of VIU member universities and VIU Alumni: € 600 VAT included

Students of other universities: € 1200 VAT included

The fees will cover tuition, course materials, lunches in the San Servolo cafe (4 working days on campus), social events, and the 83rd Venice International Film Festival accreditation.

Student participants will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses to and from Venice, local transportation and accommodation.

Accommodation

The cost of accommodation on campus in shared rooms with other participants of the Summer School - triple or quadruple - is € 500 for 10 nights incl. taxes
Breakfast included. (Check in August 31 - Check out September 10, 2026)

For rolling admissions after May 20, 2026, assistance with accommodation is not available.

- Between 90 days and 30 days before the start date of the program, 50% of the tuition fee is refundable.
- Less than 30 days before the start date of the program, the tuition fee is not refundable.
