Grant support

Students from the VIU member universities will pay no participation fees. Selected participants will receive grants to support, partially or fully, the costs of international travel and accommodation. A participation deposit of €150 must be paid to confirm your participation, due within 10 days of receipt of the admission letter. The participation deposit will be refunded to students who participate in all activities of the program. The deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation of participation. Detailed information will be provided in the Letter of Admission itself.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing, VIU will continue to monitor the situation, and in the event that it is not possible to confirm the program on the VIU campus as scheduled, other practicable solutions will be evaluated. Applicants and confirmed participants will be informed of any changes.

Candidates from non-member institutions

Candidates from non member institutions will not be eligible for VIU funding. Program fee for external candidates: € 1.100,00 VAT included. The fee is inclusive of tuition, course materials, accommodation, breakfasts, lunches, social events and taxes. The fee must be paid within 10 days of receipt of the admission letter.

In case of cancellation:
- up to 90 days before the start date of the program, the program fee is refundable.
- between 90 days and 30 days before the start date of the program, 50% of the program fee is refundable.
- less than 30 days before the start date of the program, the program is fee is not refundable.

Please note: should the COVID-19 situation prevent international travel, or the confirmation of the program on campus, you will be promptly updated by VIU and the Cancellation Policy will be modified accordingly

Accommodation

The accommodation package includes 6 nights in a shared room on VIU campus from Sunday, June 12 (check in) to Saturday, June 18, 2022 (check out).
