A multimedia installation offering a new perspective on Rome: a modern city that complements the ancient city of emperors and popes. An interactive touchscreen installation that allows visitors to explore two distinct areas: the Contemporary District and the Churches of the Third Millennium. A project aimed at promoting and enhancing innovative cultural heritage itineraries, promoted and commissioned by ENIT S.p.A.

The Contemporary District
stretches along the northern bank of the Tiber, between Via Flaminia and the Guido Reni–Pietro de Coubertin axis.
This area is home to a unique heritage: a century of architecture, art, and engineering.
From the Foro Italico to the Farnesina, from the Olympic Village to the MAXXI Museum, from the Auditorium to the Mosque of Rome.
An urban landscape where nature, culture, and sport are intertwined.
A living system that engages with the river and anticipates the city of the future.

The Churches of the Third Millennium
Rome does not end with its basilicas.
Created for the 2025 Jubilee, this project reveals a new geography: twelve churches built in our time and spread throughout the contemporary city.
Different architectural forms, new languages.
Not merely places of worship, but living community hubs: spaces for meeting, assistance, and community life.
From 2000 to 2025, a new map of sacred Rome has taken shape, strengthening neighborhoods and creating connections.
Understanding it, truly means understanding the Rome of today.

This project is part of a series of initiatives pursuing the same objective: to promote and enhance the cultural and architectural heritage of contemporary Rome, highlighting its transformation and evolution through different perspectives. These initiatives include:

Together, these projects explore the identity of contemporary Rome and its architectural, cultural and urban transformations, offering new perspectives on the city and its heritage.
