Would you like to work with colleagues from other universities in the VIU membership?
Would your students enjoy the opportunity to participate in an intensive residential program in Venice?
Submit a proposal for a joint intensive graduate activity to Venice International University.
We accept proposals from scholars in the member universities for intensive graduate activities according to the following deadlines:

Summer Schools (or Spring, Autumn or Winter Schools) in 2027
Deadline: March 15, 2026
The proposals will be discussed during Academic Council meetings in April/May 2025.
PhD Academies and Graduate Seminars to take place in 2028
Deadline: September 15, 2026
Funding is available for four programs in 2028 which can be either PhD Academies or Graduate Seminars.
The proposals will be discussed during Academic Council meetings in October/November 2026.
