One of the truly defining characteristics of Venice International University is its vibrant, diverse and multidisciplinary community. The Student Social Committee fosters interactions and enhances the social environment for students and staff at VIU by organising activities and events which focus on socialization, recreation, wellness and experiencing life in Venice outside your normal classroom.
The Committee's past events for students include barbecues, theme parties and group, trips around the city and the lagoon and many others.
Committee members are elected among VIU students at the beginning of each semester, usually during the Global Fair, in the first week of courses.
