VIU students and faculty have the opportunity to buy a special 3-day pass for visiting the two venues of the Venice Biennale Exhibition. The 18th International Architecture Exhibition is titled The Laboratory of the Future and curated by Lesley Lokko.
The pass is issued in the framework of the Biennale Sessions agreement and costs 20 euro per person, allowing 3 entrances (even on non-consecutive days) to Giardini and Arsenale venues.
The cost of the pass is sponsored by VIU for the students of the course S2301 History of Venice since the visit to the Biennale is a co-curricular activity of their course.
All VIU students and faculty can buy a pass, just signing the list at the Front Office and bringing the ticket amount by April 20.
The pass is nominal and will be available to pick up in time for the opening of the exhibition on May 20, 2023.
A guided visit to the Giardini venue is organized on Saturday, May 20, time tbc, for the students of the S2301 History of Venice course, as a compulsory co-curricular activity. A few places may be available for other students and professors.
N.B. The tickets are nominal. Please remember to bring your ID/Passport during the visit otherwise you may be denied access to the Biennale at the ID check.
