VIU students and faculty have the opportunity to buy a special 3-day pass for visiting the two seats of the Venice Biennale Exhibition. The pass costs 20 euro per person and allows 3 entrances (even on non-consecutive days) to Giardini and Arsenale venues.
The cost of the pass is sponsored by VIU for the students of the course F2201 History of Venice since the visit to the Biennale is a co-curricular activity of their course.
All VIU students and faculty can buy a pass, just signing the Doodle sent via email and bringing the ticket amount by Wednesday, October 5 at noon.
The pass is nominal and will be available to pick up in a couple of weeks.
A guided visit to the Giardini venue is organized on Friday, November 18, at 10 am, for the students of the F2201 History of Venice course, as a compulsory co-curricular activity. Places are available for other students and professors.
In the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Goltenboth and her course 'F2214 “The Milk of Dreams” - Anthropological Perspectives on the Biennale di Venezia 2022' will hold an open seminar at Arsenale, in the framework of the "Biennale Sessions" agreement, and we highly recommend joining.
The seminar, entitled Anthropological perspectives on the Biennale Arte 2022: Bodies, more-then-humans and sensorial spaces, will have an interactive/creative format of discussion with visitors and a table where the question about the representation of the body will be discussed by drawing and painting.
Time and Place:
2 - 4 pm
Arsenale, Sala D'Armi G, in front of the pavilion of Saudi Arabia
The seminar is open to any visitor of the Biennale and all VIU students who hold a Biennale pass are welcome to join the event.
N.B. The tickets are nominal. Please remember to bring your ID/Passport during the visit otherwise you may be denied access to the Biennale at the ID check.
