Globalization Program

The Globalization Program is the flagship of VIU academic offer and it is open to students from VIU's Member Universities. It is an innovative program which combines traditional academic activities, site visits, field trips, workshops and lectures addressing globalization and its economic, social, environmental and cultural implications and consequences with an interdisciplinary and multicultural approach.

 

During the Fall semester the Globalization Program focuses on Cultural Heritage, with a set of advanced courses on the issues related to Cultural Heritage Management, Innovation and Urban Cultural Policy.

 

In the Spring semester, the main focus in on Sustainable Development and the international division of labour.

 

Courses on Venetian and Italian studies are also on offer every semester as well as a stimulating program of co-curricular activities.

 

All courses are taught in English by professors from the Member Universities.
