The program
The Globalization Program is a study program within the activities of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of VIU.
The program offers a set of advanced courses on the themes of globalization and sustainable development, a dissertation workshop and internships in companies, Universities and research centers in Italy and abroad.
The Globalization Program, entirely taught in English, is addressed to Italian students registered in the final year of their Master’s degree courses who wish to write a final thesis on the themes of globalization and/or sustainability and to all VIU students.
Credits for VIU courses are recognized by Ca' Foscari and Iuav faculties as credits for equivalent or elective courses.
The program is in three phases, over a 12-month period:
1. Courses: a set of advanced courses on the themes of globalization and sustainable development.
2. Internship: a 3-6 months internship at a research center, University, or company in Italy or abroad aimed at developing a final research thesis
3. Dissertation workshop: students in the program will be supported by professors in developing and writing their final dissertations based on the internships and research activities carried out during the program.
