For students in any of the member universities in the second year of their Master’s degree (laurea magistrale), who intend pursuing research for their Master’s thesis in themes related to the Globalization Program, and for advanced undergraduate students who are studying for a 4-year bachelor degree, who intend undertaking a final research thesis/project for credit.
Successful applicants attend the semester of courses at VIU and compete for internships abroad, supported by scholarships.
The reasearch mobilities are for two to four months and start and end dates are fixed in collaboration with the host organization and depending on the projects which the students will pursue, and are usually completed by the end of December in the academic year following the courses at VIU (January-August 2019 for Fall 2018 students and September-December 2019 for Spring 2019 students).
Students interested in applying for the Research Internships and Mobility program must register for at least two courses at VIU, during the same semester.
