Conferences at Venice International University

Venice International  University offers its support to associated members and other Research Centers  or Academic Institutions who wish to organize Conferences, Seminars, Summer Schools and Workshops in cooperation with Venice International University, on its premises.

In order to do so a request must be sent to the Dean of VIU ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it) specifying the contents of the event. Venice International University staff will then provide all necessary information about the academic facilities as well as accommodation rooms available on campus. These are only available to participants of courses or events taking place on the island of San Servolo.

Therefore all requests for accommodation connected to events organized in collaboration with Venice International University must be made through Venice International University staff.

Once the availability of accommodation has been secured, Venice International University will put the organizers in direct contact with the reception for further details, such as rooming lists, payment conditions, room prices, cancellation policy and so on. All these aspects are not under the responsibility of Venice International University.
