	Round-Up of Intensive Graduate Activities during Summer 2023


	It has been a very busy summer at VIU! Here is a round-up of the Summer Schools and a PhD Academy that were on at VIU from June through August. Overall we have welcomed more than 200 students and 80 professors to the Academic Programs since June, and we will have another two Summer Schools and a PhD Academy in September. 	Successful Summer Session of the Globalization Program


	60 students spent the month of August at VIU taking courses for credit for their bachelor's and master's degrees. This was the second edition of the Summer Session of the Globalization Program, introduced in 2022 with the aim of extending the opportunities to study and teach at VIU, especially to those students who otherwise face barriers to participation in mobility opportunities. 	Worldwide Mobility and Erasmus+ Opportunities for Students


	We have several opportunities for students of VIU member universities to spend a period of study or research abroad at another member university, supported by VIU scholarships or Erasmus+ grants. 	Inter-Institutional Collaboration \| Call for Intensive Graduate Activities


	Would you like to develop a collaborative project with colleagues from other universities in the VIU membership? Submit a proposal for a joint intensive graduate activity to Venice International University. Please note that the deadline for PhD Academies and Graduate Seminars has been extended to September 30. 	Teach at VIU \| Call for Lectureships 2024-2026


	Apply by September 30 if you would like to join the faculty at VIU for a semester and teach an international group of highly motivated students with an interdisciplinary outlook. This opportunity is open to professors in the member universities and experienced researchers in employment at CNR. All the details and criteria are described in the call. 	Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching, Research and Administrative Staff


	This opportunity is for teaching, research and administrative staff who wish to travel abroad to visit one of VIU's European member universities for teaching and/or training opportunites. Successful candidates will receive Erasmus+ funding. The call is especially appropriate for any teaching or administrative staff who would like to build their network and develop joint initiatives. February 26 – March 1, 2024. Translation has an aesthetical, epistemological, religious, and strong political dimension. This Graduate Seminar will focus on the latter. Suitable for: advanced Master, early PhD students, and junior researchers in Philosophy, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
