VIU is pleased to host the awards ceremony of the Marco Polo Venice Prize 2019 (3rd edition)

It can be awarded to a writer for a first novel, or to an already well-known author. A distinctive feature of the prize is that it is shared with the translator.

This year the prize will be awarded to Giosué Calaciura - Borgo Vecchio - published by Sellerio and to the translator Lise Chapuis.
