Come with us and discover the amazing and varied landscapes of the Venice lagoon!
During the trip we will visit:
the port of Venice and Porto Marghera industrial area
the Malamocco inlet and the Mose project installations
the Museum of the Lagoon on Pellestrina Island
Murazzi, the sea walls built by the Republic of Venice to protect the city from the sea
Return by 5 pm (approx.) in San Servolo/San Zaccaria.
N.B. The visit is compulsory for students enrolled in:
F2101 History of Venice
for them the costs will be covered by VIU.
Extra places are available for other students and professors interested!
Extra participants: 10 euro/person including transportation & entrance tickets.
To confirm your participation, please sign the roster and pay the fee (if due) at the Front Office before Tuesday October 12. First come, first served basis.
Bring your own packed lunch since the lunch break will be a picnic in Pellestrina.
