Design is the crossroads between art and business. Eero Miettinen will explore the link between culture and innovation in designing new products. In particular, the talk will focus on the role of Finnish culture in Nokia design.
Eero Miettinen is group director of Nokia Design since 1999. He has long experience in design: he has worked for several international companies spanning different industry sectors such as automobile, anaesthetics equipment, military equipment etc. He is also a visiting lecturer of industrial design at the University o Arts and Design in Helsinki. He has won several international design awards, in particular for his work on concept cars.
