The Fall 2017 term of the Globalization Program closes on Thursday, 14 December 2017.
Since September 2017, over 100 students representing 19 different nationalities throughout three continents have been attending courses taught by professors from VIU's member universities. Following the semester, the best students will be able to avail of interesting internship opportunities.
The Closing Ceremony will be held at 5.00 pm in Aula Magna, first floor. Friends of VIU faculty, students and staff are welcome to join the event.
The program will be as follows:
- Opening Remarks, Prof. Carlo Giupponi, Dean of Venice International University and Prof. Luca Pes, Vice-Dean and Globalization Program Scientific Coordinator
- Theatrical performance organized by the students of the course"Let's Kill the Moonlight. The Early 20 th Century Avant-Garde Performative Movements in Europe"
- Videos from the course "Globalization, Ethics Welfare and Human Rights: Anthropological Perspectives on Borders, Migration and Mobility in the Mediterranean'.
- Award of Scholarships for Internships in Italy
- Awards for Academic Excellence, selected by the Fall 2017 faculty
- Slideshow on the activities of the Students Social Committee
A farewell reception will follow.
