This course is an introduction to the evolving areas of Cybercrime and Internet Security, which are affecting developed and developing countries worldwide. It is intended as an introduction to various issues which students may wish to study in depth in further courses in fields such as law, policy, computer science. business.
In addition to reading, students will view two films in class, which will familiarize them with what the real world of computers and computer networks and the Internet look like, and what the “bad guys” have done and potentially could do to computers, networks and the Internet.
