The Notion of Modernity in Art and Literature and the Universality of Art Criticism: course description
The course will be organised depending on the number of students and will take into account their knowledge of art history, poetry and linguistics. Knowledge of Chinese or Japanese languages is not required. Lectures will alternate with discussions and presentations. Obviously, the students can benefit in their learning process from the availability of valuable examples of traditional and contemporary art in churches, museums in Venice and in the Biennale.
