- The motives for peace-keeping and peace-making

Week 5-12-: Instruments of peace-keeping and peace-making
- The first hope: insight and tolerance
- The second hope: mediation (on different social and political levels, national and international)
- The rule: jurisdiction (on different levels, national and international)
- The paradox: superior force to end force (from Lysistrate to UN Peace Corps)
