Workshop on Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change for Reducing Security Risks in South-East Europe (SEE) Thursday 19-Friday 20 May, 2011

The workshop is organized by UNEP in collaboration with the VIU-TEN Center and the REPROS research centre of the University of Siena. It aims at sharing with representatives from the SEE countries the preliminary results of the report carried out by the two universities on issues of adaptation to climate change in this region.
Invited experts and observers will discuss new case studies and concrete examples in relation to the impact of climate change.
As a conclusion of the workshop new adaptation policy measures for cooperation at regional level will be put forward.
