at 12.00 at the Quadri cafè and restaurant in Venice, the book "Cornetto e cappuccino: Storia e fortuna della colazione all’italiana", edited by Terra Ferma, will be presented by the author Professor Gianni Moriani. This publication is part of the activities of the Forno d'Asolo project.
- September 10, 2010: in 2010 the Veneto Movie School involved 10 young filmmakers coming from European film schools who has been invited to spend a time in Veneto - from 18 August 2010 to 12 September 2010 - getting to know the local area, visiting places and meeting people, absorbing cultural influences and developing their own original point of view on the region. The award ceremony of the best video was held at the Terrace of the Excelsior Hotel in Venice Lido on September 10, 2010

The School is part of the activities planned within the project financed by Veneto Region titled "Valorization of Veneto Region Cultural Heritage". The School involves 10 young filmmakers coming from European film schools who will be invited to spend a time in Veneto, visiting places and meeting people, absorbing cultural influences and developing their own original point of view on the region.
- July 23, 2010: Hemingway and his Veneto
The Exhibition "Il Veneto di Hemingway" opens to the public in Caorle. This is the second exhibition of a biennal project cofinanced by Veneto Region. The project aims at discovering the places where Hemingway lived during his stay in Italy.
- July 11-16, 2010: Duke_VIU International Summer Workshop. Duke University’s Center on Globalization, Governance & Competitiveness (CGGC), together with Venice International University’s Center for Studies on Technologies in Distributed Intelligence Systems (TeDIS) have expanded their ongoing collaboration by developing the International Summer Research Workshop, a four years collaboration. The third edition of the workshop will be held at VIU from July 11 to 16.
- June 14-18, 2010: XXIX Edition of the Europroject Management Course. The course allows to acquire tools and methodology to prepare and submit an European project.
