The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) organizes weekly intensive seminars in cooperation with the Member Universities of VIU during the semesters. These intensive seminars are usually on a very specific topic, under the tutorage of a professor from a Member University, for a number of approx. 20 students. So far most of these have been organized in cooperation with Ludwig Maximillian Universitaet (LMU) of Munich, Germany.
