“Sustainability in Practice” module is scheduled from 9th to 13th July 2007 at San Servolo Island, Venice
The fourth Course for Sustainability: Strategies, Methodologies, Policies and Actions for Central and Eastern Europe is concluding.
It has been organized by VIU/TEN Center in cooperation with the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) and supported by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea.
The aim of the Course for Sustainability is to promote capacity building among Central-East European key senior government officials involved in the process of policy making, in order to foster a sustainable approach to environmental, social and economic issues.
The fifth and last module of this Advanced Training Program will be hold at VIU premises on the Island of San Servolo from 9th to 13th July 2007. The goal of this last module is to put in practice the acquired knowledge in the four previous modules with a specific one. This module is about tools, policies and practical examples of the “Sustainability in Practice.”
60 participants selected from a broad mix of agencies, ministries and national institutes and regional development agencies from eleven Central and Eastern European countries, will face the subject of “Sustainability in Practice”.
