VIU and BMEPB (Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau) have jointly organized a training course on Electromagnetic Pollution that will be held in January, 12-26.
The first training course in Electromagnetic Pollution has already started and the participants are now arriving in Venice, where they will spend nearly an entire week.
During their staying in Italy, trainees will deeply explore themes such as the electromagnetic issue and its scientific basis, and the electromagnetic pollution managed by public institution. Case studies concerning the impact of electromagnetic sources will be also presented. They will visit companies involved in energy production and monitoring equipment production. Moreover, parts of the lectures will be devoted to face the risk evaluation, the social and the health aspects of this current topic.
