April 16 - 17, 2007 Joint workshop on Sino-Italian Comparative Studies on Sustainable Development TEN Center held a joint workshop on Sino-Italian Comparative Studies on Sustainable Development in cooperation with Tsinghua University and SSAV – School for Advanced Studies in Venice. | July 3-6, 2006 VIU at the Sino-Italian Green Week, Beijing In the first week of July, VIU President Umberto Vattani and TEN Center President Ignazio Musu participated in the Sino-Italian Green Week in Beijing. The Green Week was organized by the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Territory (IMET) to celebrate the sixth year of Sino-Italian cooperation in the field of Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development. The Italian delegation was led by the Italian Minister for the Environment Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio and included Corrado Clini, IMET Director General and VIU President Umberto Vattani (also President of the Italian Trade Commission). VIU was represented also by TEN Center President Ignazio Musu and former VIU Dean Paolo Costa. |
