Aula Magna – VIU - Isola di San Servolo, Venezia. VIU’s Dean Stefano Micelli will attend the presentation of the undergraduate semester.
During the event, open to everybody, professors will introduce Undergraduate courses to an international audience of students of different nationalities and from Venetian universities interested in an international experience in Venice: it is possibile for all the students from members universities to freely participate in stages organized by VIU and in semester courses.
Among the professors of the Fall Semester, Micheal Hardt from Duke University well known in Italy and in the USA for having written “Empire” together with Toni Negri (Harvard University Press, Cambridge, 2000), and Yossi Yzraely from Tel Aviv University, who is also a theater director and scriptwriter for movies screened by Israel TV.
Venice International University is an association of ten institutions and offers courses which are held in English and and offered for credit by all members universities.
Participation in VIU courses by students from members universities is free.
During the event, course descriptions, a student guide and orientation materials will be available, in addition to general information regarding VIU activities.
The event will be followed by an informal reception.
Registration to the courses will be open until September 22
