In cooperation with the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS)and EURAC. During the period 2000-2006, the first transnational EU cooperation program was launched for the Alps. The INTERREG IIIB Alpine Space Programme represented an integrated strategic approach of the area aiming to encourage a stronger cohesion between sectoral and horizontal policies of the area. The partners and regions developed stable networks, witnessing the strong commitment of the projects to fulfill the program’s major target of a common development strategy.
