Almost all movies in Italy are dubbed. Some cinemas run an original language series during the year. Otherwise in order to see films in English you have to rent DVD or go to the Venice Film Festival in September.
Most of best movie theatres are in Mestre. Movie listings are printed daily in the local newspapers Il Gazzettino and La Nuova and the monthly publication Venezia News, or on the Comune di Venezia website.
