After the training course on Sustainable Development that was held from October 18 to 22, in Beijing, a delegation of 31 participants selected by and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) will visit Italy from October 23 to November 6, 2010.
As the topics of the course are very general, lectures will address: sustainable development, waste management, air pollution control and water management, sustainable transportation and sustainable agriculture, as well as environmental policy in Europe and in Italy.
To further examine the issue of the integrated waste management implementation, the delegation will have the chance to go on a site visit to Veritas S.p.A., an integrated waste treatment plant in Fusina, Venice. |
