35 experts from the Black Sea region have been selected to participate in the third edition of the Seminar Series. After the first series which took place in Istanbul last June, it is now time for the conclusion of this high level training course: Venice International University is glad to announce that from September 28 to October 3 the Seminar Series - Partnerships for Sustainable Development Sustainable Public Policies and Business Practices for Black Sea Countries will take place on the Island of San Servolo. The network which kicked off in Istanbul will now be implemented in Venice: the 2010 edition of the Seminar Series will involve participants and lecturers in fruitful and challenging discussions on current key topics such as climate change, sustainable tourism, environmental security and the economic aspects of SD. Discussions, workshops, site visit and simulations are the core of the schedule that involve relevant experts, professors and researchers from all over Europe. The participants have been chosen among Ministries, Agencies and Municipalities of Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Georgia and Turkey and will have the opportunity to build new relationships for future cooperation both with colleagues of other States and with other organizations from the same countries. The course is jointly organised by VIU, Regional Environmental Center and Agroinnova and it is founded by the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land & Sea. |
