Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and Venice International University is organizing a course devoted to Pollution Source Management with a particular focus on EmissionTrading Schemes.

The drafted agenda of this course is structured offering the 15 participants first a theoretical background from a legal point of view: Italian policies for pollution source management, an overview on EU organisation and EU environmental policy and directives on primary pollutants are also among the topics addressed. Secondly, during their stay in Italy, the participants will discuss practical cases on the development of the Emission Trading Systems.

Moreover, several site visits have been organized enabling the participants to observe how industrial pollution can be managed and in addition, what will happen after Copenhagen Climate Change Conference will also be discussed.
