On Wednesday November 9, 2011, the opening of the exhibition "Italia in Movimento: direttrici e paesaggi dall'Unità ad oggi" took place at VIU. The Società Geografica Italiana has promoted this exhibition on the occasion of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Italian Unification.
The exhibition has been on show in Rome and Florence and is open now in Venice, offering a display of about 80 photographic reproductions which trace the history of unified Italy with a particular focus on landscape transformation.
The exhibition will be open to the public until the end of November.
On November 9, at 5 pm a guided tour of the exhibition was offered to our students and professors. Click here to see the program of the vernissage |
