Religious Architecture and Art in Venice in the Age of the Serenissima Republic: readings

Document Actions
Paola Modesti, Venice International University
Giulio Lorenzetti, Venice and its lagoon: historical-artistic guide, Trieste 1999, is still recommendable as a guide-book to the city, while Gherardo Ortalli and Giovanni Scarabello, A Short History of Venice, Ospedaletto (Pisa) 1999, is a useful and handy introduction to its history.
