Class participation 20% Reaction papers 40% Final essay 40% Reaction papers (1 A4 page in length) will be assigned approximately every week, after our viewing and discussion of each film. Essays should be between 2000 and 2500 words in length, typewritten and double-spaced. Grades will be based on all of the above. There will be no formal examination. If you cannot attend class for any reason, please inform me, preferably in advance, by e-mail. Two or more unexplained absences will count against your final grade.
