The SEPB course on “Environmental Management” will be held in Italy from May 24 to June 7, 2008.
The 21 members of the delegation will follow a training designed to develop all the main topics of sustainable development, presenting the way in which the different aspects are addressed in Italy and Europe.
In Rome and Siena, the delegation will be given a general introduction on EU law and policy, together with examples of implementation in the national legislation.
In Venice and Turin thematic lectures and site visits will be organized on various subjects like energy saving, waste management, urban planning and water pollution.
