The participants arrived in Rome on Saturday to attend the "Water Pollution and Prevention" training course.
The delegation is hosted at the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS) and at the University of Siena to approach the Italian and European policies about water issues.
In Venice, the delegation will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Venice Lagoon. Moreover they will visit laboratories specialized on water pollution monitoring and an integrated wastewater treatment plant, besides attending several lessons on economic aspects of water pollution and its effects on human health.
The delegation will conclude the training course in Turin, where they will learn about several tools to monitor water quality with.
