Laurea in Architecture (IUAV), Postgraduate Specialization Degree in History of Art (Cattolica, Milan), PhD in History of Architecture (IUAV). Professor of Art and Architecture in Venice at VIU since 2000; Research Fellow (“assegnista”) in the History of Architecture at the Department of the History of Architecture, IUAV, where has also lectured as “collaboratrice alla didattica” since 1998.
Was Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department in the History of Architecture at Duke (Fall 2003) and Samuel H. Kress Senior Fellow as well as Millon Architectural Guest Scholar at CASVA, National Gallery of Art, Washington (2005-2006). Her publications have mainly dealt with the architecture of Lombardy in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, Renaissance architecture and Venetian religious architecture. Among the recent works: the book Il convento della Carità e Andrea Palladio. Storie, progetti, immagini, Verona 2005, and the articles “Le trasformazioni storico-costruttive del complesso della Carità,” in Progettare un museo. Le nuove Gallerie dell’Accademia, ed. R.
