Daniela CotticaDaniela Cottica Laurea (Ca’ Foscari), MA and PhD in Archaeology (University College, London). Lecturer (ricercatore) in Classical Archaeology at the Department of Sciences of Antiquity and the Near East of Ca’ Foscari. Current fields of research include: private architecture in the Roman Empire; the space of imperial cult; Roman military architecture; symbolism in private art and cognitive archaeology; Hellenistic, Roman and Late Antique ceramics; pottery analysis and quantification; relationship between material culture and context; theories and methods of archaeological research.
