The fourth year of cooperation between VIU and SEPA started on January 19 with the arrival in Italy of a delegation of 24 people. For the year 2008, 4 courses have been scheduled and this first delegation will spend a two weeks period in Italy until February 2, to follow a course on “Air Quality Control”.
The trainees will have the chance to deeply understand which are the available tools to cope with atmospheric pollutants, form the legislative, analytic and operational point of view.
Examples of how the problem of air quality is being faced at European and Italian level will be given, together with the presentation of interventions at local level and successful projects in Italy and China.
