The European Patent Academy, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and Venice International University are jointly organizing an International Conference on Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management.

The conference will bring together experts and practitioners concerned with the strategic use of intellectual property and knowledge management in innovation, coming from governmental institutions, IP authorities, industry, IP professionals and business advisors, universities and public and private research institutions. This opportunity for networking and discussion with outstanding experts from the IP, business and academic professions is not to be missed.
Registration for the conference is open to the public, subject to a participation fee of EUR 200 (including participation in the conference, coffee breaks, buffet lunches, cocktail reception).

The event is scheduled in connection with the Third Venice Award for Intellectual Property at the Doge's Palace on Saturday, October 28, 2006. The participants at the international conference are invited to attend the awards ceremony.
