On the occasion of the 52nd Biennale Art Exhibition, some collateral events will take place on the Island of San Servolo. The opening will take place on June 7 at 5.00 pm.
Joining arts, technology and mobile lifestyle, Mobile Journey is focused on the concept of mobility. Curated by Lorella Scacco, the exhibition displays interactive works conceived by artists and developed together with mobile communication engineers. Invited artists include: Laura Beloff & Erich Berger & Elina Mitrunen, Peter Callesen, Empfanghalle, Globalgroove, Crispin Gurholt, Kalle Laar, Gaston Ramirez Feltrin, Silver & Hanne Rivrud.

Always in the balance between art and critical quotation, the work of Vettor Pisani proposes a rich mixture of imageries, alchemies, iconographies and contents without any gap between past and present.
The Inner-soul Island: Isolation and foolery, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva, is the theme faced by Vettor Pisani, an artist who was always early forseeing, in advance with current events, incest, anti-nature, hostage, plagiarism, anti-hero and the overcomings of ideology and art.

The Island of San Servolo is the flood-lit stage of the appointments of Light on San Servolo. Thanks to the cooperation between the Province of Venice and San Servolo Servizi, the second weekend of June will see the Island of San Servolo turning into a crossroads of cultures with exhibitions, performances and shows, with special attention paid to video art and author’s photography.

Veneziafiere presents the second edition of V|07 - Venice VideoArt Fair, an event exclusively dedicated to video, which this year will see the presence of the most dynamic international galleries involved in the dissemination of this language. Designed and directed by Raffaele Gavarro.
Shot and go – A vision of today's international photography
From 7th June at h. 5.00 pm untill 31st July
San Servolo Servizi, in cooperation with the Province of Venice, after the photography exhibitions Italian Camera and Lampi sull’acqua. La città visibile, made in 2005 and 2006, is presenting this year Shot and go – A vision of today's international photography, an exhibition grouping the works of 15 emerging artists in the international art scene. Raffaele Gavarro is the Shot and go curator.
Pavilion of the Republic of Slovenia
During the 52nd International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale and together with Light on San Servolo, the Island will also host the Pavilion of the Republic of Slovenia.
